Many trainees start by attending a 2-day introductory class (FACT A). These are designed for couples therapists who are interested, but would like to experience Imago clinical training first-hand before they commit to the full Certification Program. They cover the first 2-days of the certification program, and count towards completion of the full one-year program.
Flexible Access Clinical Training (FACT) is an opportunity to start training in Imago without the need to make a commitment to the complete 12-day certification program.
The program includes an introduction to the Imago dialogue, and the Imago supervisory process, in addition to lectures on developmental journeys, the power struggle and conscious relationships. They provide practical skills to help you provide effective relationship help.
At the end of the two-days, if you wish to continue to train as a Certified Imago Therapist, there are two options. You may join a second two-day training, FACT-B, which will then prepare you to join a Certification group on the fifth day of their 12-day program, called Course 200SG. Alternatively, some Clinical Instructors will allow you to join Course 200SG on the third day, after completing just FACT A.
